Song and Dance Stage School perform songs from all the great musicals at The Helix on Sunday, the 1st and Monday, the 2nd of May.

With a wonderful programme of songs from classic shows including Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, and Hans Christian Anderson, Song and Dance Stage School perform their first show in The Helix under the title, Showtime at The Helix.

The Song and Dance Stage School was established in Baldoyle in 1996 and has pupils from all over Dublin including Howth, Sutton, Portmarnock, Malahide, Baldoyle, Raheny, Swords and Donaghmede and recently branched out to Lucan.

The Song and Dance Stage School has introduced a whole generation of Northsiders to the joys of performing. The school has over 200 boys and girls between the ages of eight and eighteen, many of whom have appeared on radio, television and stage productions including Singin' in the Rain and I, Keano at the Olympia Theatre.

Showtime at The Helix is produced by an award-winning team including director and co-choreographer, Carol O'Byrne, co-director and chorus master Jimmy O'Byrne, musical director David Hayes of Riverdance and choreographer, Ger Nolan.

A wonderful introduction to the talented young performers emerging on the Dublin stage, Showtime at The Helix takes place on the 1st and 2nd.
