Song and Dance is a family-run business, started by Carol and Jimmy O’Byrne back in 1996 for their daughters because there was nothing else like it in the North Dublin area at the time.The very first class took place in the P.E. Hall of St.Mary’s Girls National School, with 21 children in attendance.
After almost 20 years renting practically every space in Baldoyle, Song and Dance Studios opened at 27 College Street in August 2014. All classes now take place in our custom-designed, child-friendly studios, which feature top of the range facilities, including industry-standard sprung floors to protect young bones and joints.
Our motto has always been “Come along and join the fun” and we have consistently stuck to that. We accept boys and girls of all abilities over the age of 3. All classes are delivered in a positive, energetic way and are exciting, fast-paced and most of all, fun!
Our team are Garda-vetted and trained in child protection. We have a high teacher to pupil ratio with approximately 5 teachers in each dance class. We’ll always have a trained First Aid Responder on the premises.
