This year Lucy O’Byrne is bringing you a few extra early Christmas presents. Following her previous her sell out, solo Christmas Concerts she is delighted to be back at The Playhouse @ Song&Dance with special guests: West-End Star Adam Bayjou (Les Miserables) and The Song&Dance Senior Choir. This promises to be an evening of Showstopping Music and Christmas Classics not to be missed.
Lucy is a West End and international Musical Theatre Star and recording artist, known for The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Evita and as Runner Up on The Voice UK. Song&Dance Stage School alumnus Lucy has been in working in London for almost a decade but treasures Christmas at home in Baldoyle.
Adam Bayjou is known for his terms in the original West End Production of Les Miserables playing both the Factory Foreman and Jean Valjean. Most recently he has featured in the US Tour of the new global smash hit musical ‘Choir of Man’ as ‘Hardman’ and as founder and member of the musical ensemble VOXX – The West-End Tenors who this year have embarked on several tours covering mainland Europe and Scandinavia. VOXX also feature in Irish Legend Johnny Logan’s annual musical Gala in Germany.
Returning audience members have remarked that their Christmas only starts once they’ve been to this show. And we hope it helps you get into the Festive spirit this year.
This event is SOLD OUT online. Please contact 0851465033 for returns.
Please Note: As a safety precaution, The Playhouse will operate at a reduced capacity. Face coverings will be required at all times. Covid Certification and ID will be required for entry for everyone over 18 years of age. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
In 2018, Song and Dance Stage School were delighted to launch their newest venture – The Playhouse. Following years of investment and adaptation, the generously proportioned Studio 1 is now able to be converted into a studio theatre, complete with full lighting and sound rig, and tiered seating for an audience of 120.
As well as being used for in-house productions such as the annual S&D Drama Festival, The Playhouse regularly plays host to music artists for concert performances.
