Musical Theatre

If you’ve got a budding Elphaba, Elsa, Evan Hansen or Eliza Hamilton in your life, this is the one for you. Our very popular Musical Theatre class focuses on singing, acting and movement. We work on excerpts from stage and film musicals (from the old reliables to this year’s brand new releases), using this classic form of entertainment to develop storytelling, stagecraft, and discover the joy in expressing yourself through song. Musical theatre students learn the important skill of working within a large ensemble, while improving their own skills as a performer. There are plenty of opportunities to audition for solo roles for those who want to be front and centre – but if you’re happy to stay in the chorus, you’ll still have loads of fun! Musical Theatre classes take place:

Age 7-10	Tuesday	5-5.45pm
Age 11+	Friday	7-8pm

*Most Musical Theatre students also take Choir*
